Announcement(s) !!

"We interrupt this time of non-posting to bring you a few important announcements!"

First of all - Alex and Brett Harris have written a new book! The ''sequel'' to their bestseller "Do Hard Things", "Start Here" is about how to go about doing hard things and what to do! Pre-order your copy from Amazon - preferably tomorrow - to be a part of their "book-bomb"

Second - check out a website some friends of mine and I started. All the glory to God! (if it's any good) As the site it self says "The site of a few Reborn Human Beings, Serving God, Furthering His Kingdom, and Bringing Him Glory" Have a look at Reborn Humanity!

Third - I had mentioned a few posts ago that my aunt was in serious medical and spiritual condition. Sadly enough, she passed away on Thursday morning (the 18th). Thanks for your prayers everyone ... it meant a lot. If you could pray for comfort for my family - and her family (she left two sons age 21 and 18, and her husband) - that would be super great. :)

"We now return to the time of non-posting. Thank you for joining us!"

some news ...

...this may be my last blog post for a good while. To say it in the easiest, shortest and non-complicated way ... my non-school internet time got shrunk, like, a lot. We'll see how life goes, and maybe I'll be able to post something cool every now and again. For right now though, don't check back for awhile - cause I doubt there will be anything new.

Thanks to y'all for putting up with my randomness so far. God bless!!!

I have been tagged!!! :o

Thanks to Jo (and her sister Leia) on her blog - I have been tagged! This is the first time I have been tagged (that I know of) and - here it is!

The rules are:
 A) List 8 stories or books you'd like to live in (for two weeks or so)
 B) Tag 8 other bloggers to do the same
 C) Comment on their blog to let them know they've been tagged

Here are mine!
A)
  1) Emma
  2) David Copperfield
  3) The Robe
  4) The Hound of the Baskervilles - or any Sherlock Holmes book
  5) Little House on the Prairie
  6) Swiss Family Robinson
  7) Ishmael
  8) Fallen Empires (amazing fantasy fiction book a good friend of mine wrote)

Here are the (lucky) people I'm tagging!
B)
  1) Victoria
  2) Miriam
  3) Alex
  4) Chase
  5) Leah
  6) Lulu
  7) Zoe
  8) Hannah

C) Well ... to the people I tagged, you don't necessarily have to do this, so I won't bug you on your blog. ;) But if you'd do it - that would be super cool!!

Have fun! (and thanks again for the tag, Jo :D )

a cool photo ... of my family!

Here is something I made for my mom about a month ago ... one of those fun end-of-the-year projects. Enjoy! And tell me what you think ... cause it was the first time I ever made something like that. (whoot for awesome software though!!!) :D

Oh, and the easiest way to tell who is who is by height. Dad, Mom (obviously) - me, Noah (age 15) Ezra (age 12) Judah (age 9) <3

the one and only...

TAJ MAHAL

"And to think these days men get away with giving
flowers and chocolates to their wives"

A monument of love built by an inconsolable emperor, Shah Jehan, in memory of his wife Mumtaz, the Taj Mahal is best experienced in moonlight. Arguably the world's most photographed monument, the Taj Mahal is one of India's twenty-six World Heritage Sites. Do visit with a loved one.

Thus reads a poster in my room with a glorious photo of the Taj Mahal. It's cool how I got that poster ... I was working - helping a lady set something up for some weekend function thingy - and she read my name tag and gave me the poster. :P It was originally meant for her daughter if I remember correctly, but she said she just had to give it to me because of my name. Bless her heart. :)

It would be so awesome to visit the place that inspired my name... wowzer! Someday, I hope to! All I can do for now is stare at it longingly from South Dakota. Pretty cool though, eh? And I love the caption at the top... hehe! If only my future husband would build something like that in my honor... !!!! Just kidding - but - it would be quite fitting for a Countess, would it not? ;)
