This was too much fun to make, so I figured - why not post it on my blog! Ahava Shalom means love and peace in Hebrew. Can you tell I'm so loving this language? :D So here is a lesson in Hebrew from me to all my wonderful bloggie friends.
(and this gives you a chance to see my wonderfully messy handwriting ;) hehe )
P.S. ... you read Hebrew right to left ;) but you can read my English left to right - that is - only if you want to hehe

gotta love Calculus
''When the successive values attributed to a variable approach indefinitely a fixed value so as to end by differing from it by as little as one wishes, this last is called the limit of all others.''

It's so crazy to be doing an actual college class! I just got my grades back for lesson one and that really hit the concept home. I'm actually doing real college! CRAZYNESS!!!! And awesomeness though - I'm having an absolute blast. :D

Check this article out. Ever wondered why in the world I'm doing a silly thing like College Plus anyways? ''A real college degree? From home? Yeah right.'' Well, no more. Read this article - it's quite enlightening, to say the very least.

......... boring .........
Hum - lately - not much is new. I have been burying myself in Calculus, Western Civilization I, my Hebrew studies and my Scripture study. On spare time ... wait, I haven't had much spare time lately!!!
We are currently in Oregon - finally - on the west coast! Halleluyah! I love the west coast. Like I have said before - it feels like home over here. :)
Let's see, what else, what else. Really, nothing! My life is rather boring now, but I'm content to sail along and work hard in what God has me doing right now.
Shalom Aleichem to all my wonderful friends!
(oh, ps, check out this amazing song if you have an extra 4 minutes lying around someplace. :) http://www.tangle.com/view_video?viewkey=282a2b640018409a87a8 )

"Boys (Lesson One)" by Jars of Clay
marriage has been on my mind lately. part of me wants to get married tomorrow - part of me never wants to get married. but, God has it all in His plan - and that's so great to know. here is a song I have been listening to a lot these past couple weeks - to get my mind on the correct track - and that's to wait. God has it all planned out - I just need to wait. I need to be doing what He wants me to do right now - finish college, learn Hebrew, prepare.

35 Reasons Not To Sin (from The Rebelution)
Wow - this is the latest post from The Rebelution. It really struck me - hard. Sinning is awful. God hates it. I have got to try, try, try like nothing else to not sin.
35 REASONS NOT TO SIN
- Because a little sin leads to more sin.
- Because my sin invites the discipline of God.
- Because the time spent in sin is forever wasted.
- Because my sin never pleases but always grieves God who loves me.
- Because my sin places a greater burden on my spiritual leaders.
- Because in time my sin always brings heaviness to my heart.
- Because I am doing what I do not have to do.
- Because my sin always makes me less than what I could be.
- Because others, including my family, suffer consequences due to my sin.
- Because my sin saddens the godly.
- Because my sin makes the enemies of God rejoice.
- Because sin deceives me into believing I have gained when in reality I have lost.
- Because sin may keep me from qualifying for spiritual leadership.
- Because the supposed benefits of my sin will never outweigh the consequences of disobedience.
- Because repenting of my sin is such a painful process, yet I must repent.
- Because sin is a very brief pleasure for an eternal loss.
- Because my sin may influence others to sin.
- Because my sin may keep others from knowing Christ.
- Because sin makes light of the cross, upon which Christ died for the very purpose of taking away my sin.
- Because it is impossible to sin and follow the Spirit at the same time.
- Because God chooses not to respect the prayers of those who cherish their sin.
- Because sin steals my reputation and robs me of my testimony.
- Because others once more earnest than I have been destroyed by just such sins.
- Because the inhabitants of heaven and hell would all testify to the foolishness of this sin.
- Because sin and guilt may harm both mind and body.
- Because sins mixed with service make the things of God tasteless.
- Because suffering for sin has no joy or reward, though suffering for righteousness has both.
- Because my sin is adultery with the world.
- Because, though forgiven, I will review this very sin at the Judgment Seat where loss and gain of eternal rewards are applied.
- Because I can never really know ahead of time just how severe the discipline for my sin might be.
- Because my sin may be an indication of a lost condition.
- Because to sin is not to love Christ.
- Because my unwillingness to reject this sin now grants it an authority over me greater than I wish to believe.
- Because sin glorifies God only in His judgment of it and His turning of it to good use, never because it is worth anything on it’s own.
- Because I promised God he would be Lord of my life.

fun fun FUN!
Time for an update!
1. We are in Loveland Colorado - at an RV park with horrible internet. :P (for all you geeky people, the download speed is like 82kbs. ouch) But the showers are really nice and all the people are wonderful here. And I found a bunch of license plates here!!! (for an explanation, see my Mom's blog - http://wearenomads.blogspot.com/ )
2. I have been doing some rollerblading lately! I went once on Thursday, once on Friday and twice today! Note to self though ... watch for wood chips on the sidewalk next time. Oh yes, I totally wiped out. Haven't gotten scrapes this bad since I was in like 5th grade. Ouch! But it's all part of the fun. :)
3. My packet of papers etc for Calc I through LSU STILL haven't come yet!!!! I'm so sad. But you know what, it's helping me work on my patience which needs some work anyways. In the meantime, I'll be working on Western Civ I! History ... yippee. *heavy sarcasm* (btw - I passed American Literature with a 66, Halleluyah!)
4. We went to see this Messianic guy speak the other day ... and it was SO interesting!!! He talked about how important it is to learn Hebrew, since we can't truly understand the Bible unless we understand the language it was written in! We are going to another of his talks tomorrow and I'm excited. So I decided to learn Hebrew. And Mom is okay with it! I just need a curriculum ... sooo if anyone has any suggestions let me know!
5. The most important thing of all .... Mom and I are going shopping tomorrow!!! Wahoo!!! Okay, so maybe it's not the most important thing, but it will be fun. (I hope) :D
So until next time .... Shalom Aleichem!!! (it means peace be upon you in Hebrew) :)
