*lightbulb*

I had the best idea EVER!!!! Well, okay, maybe not quite. But - (and yes, forgive me for changing my mind over and over and over and... yeah) - I was thinking. I thought the Music Monday thing was pretty cool, but I didn't like how it was taking over my blog. So I decided to do it once a month... well... that idea was kind of a bust too. SO! *epic music plays* Look to your right and you will see a lovely button. THAT, my friends, is the Music Monday button. I'll change the song every Monday, but it will just be a button in my sidebar instead of a whole post! Genius!

Actually, I was going to post a whole thing on God's will and other related life events, but I decided to post that over at Reborn Humanity instead. So if you want, head over there and check it out! There are some other great posts there too that would definitely be worth while to read.

Anyone do anything fun this weekend? Me... I'm just studying my life away. Hehe, actually, I got to see Iron Man 2 again last night - this time with all of my brothers! It was so funny - Ezra and Judah saw it for the first time, and they were just awed. "Awesome" and "epic" were popular words after the movie. (well, and during the credits, waiting for that little chunk at the end) Oh, and yesterday afternoon, a friend of mine and I spent a couple hours entertaining kids at some art and music festival. Needless to say, by the end of the day I was covered in bubbles, chalk, crayons, and slobbery hugs from little kids. :D

I got awarded!

Aw Jo, you are just too sweet! Thank you for the award!
Which means... when she visits my blog, it makes her laugh. Good thing, right? ;)

Oh goodness. What else to tell you about. It's raining a lot... school is going well... I went rollerblading this morning for an hour (that was awesome!)... I have way too many meetings for work this week (one meeting would be too many, but no, I have THREE! ugh)... otherwise work is good... family is doing well... Okay. Before I start to sound monotone, I'll be quiet now. But I'll leave you with a song. Even though it's Tuesday. :) *goes to iTunes to find a good song to share* Oh! This is a good one!

It's by Thousand Foot Krutch, from their latest CD - "Welcome to the Masquerade" I really like this song, because it's one of the softer ones they do.... most of their songs are bit on the rocky side. I do like the rocky ones, but it is nice to get a soft one in there every now and again. So enjoy!

A Sad Tale...

So, a good friend of mine is getting married tomorrow! Time for excitement, right? Not exactly. There is one very HUGE problem. He doesn't have his parents' blessing to be married to this gal. She's sweet, and nice, and they'll probably have an okay life together.... but there are a couple issues. One big thing - she's not a believer (he is - very strong.... or was, anyway). :( There are other issues that I'm not going to go into detail on, but I kinda want to ask you all to pray for this situation. My friend's mom is really upset about this, as is the rest of the family (obviously) - and ... it's just really tough.

:sigh: So if you would just pray for them - pray that God will change this girl's heart to seek after Him - or pray that something would stop them from getting married tomorrow.... but most importantly that God's will would be done in all of this. Thanks.

(p.s. on a happier note, Dance Recital is officially OVER! Which means more bloggy time - yay! Which also means I'll probably be putting pics and video up soon. Just waiting on a friend of mine to send me the video she took of me dancing. Until then - adios! And have a nice weekend.)

this is a totally-random-stuff post. :)

Zounds - it's been awhile since I have posted anything, eh? My apologies. My world has been totally and completely crazy the past couple weeks. Between working 9-11 hour days, studying for two classes and two CLEP tests - and just other normal life stuff.... it's been kinda hard to even get a decent night's sleep lately!

Random #1 I went to see "Iron Man 2" with my brother on Sunday! It was awesome! Maybe a little on the violent side for my taste - but otherwise I greatly enjoyed it. :) (Well, yeah, there were a couple questionable parts *cough cough* - but other than that it was cool)

Random #2 It's still raining here. :P

Random #3 My loving Dad bought me a new radio for my car!!! The old one was - well - broken. So Sunday afternoon found us tearing apart the inside of my car - which finally resulted in the removal of the old radio! (Note: said radio had been in car for 18 years) ...unfortunately, the new radio hasn't made its way into my car yet. So I'm driving radio-less. :( How sad is that? Thank goodness that Apple was smart enough to install a speaker on the iPod Touch. ;)

Random #4 This song is beautiful. Yes, go ahead and strike me for liking "American Idol" - but this is one awesome duet sung by two of the contestants: Crystal Bowersox, and my favorite contestant, Lee DeWyze. Give it a listen!

Random #5 Did I mention it is still raining? (tries really hard not to forget God's promise of the rainbow)

Random #6 My brother passed his second CLEP test today!!! WHOOT! I'm so proud of him - he did amazing!!!

Random #7 I read the most wonderful news in the local newspaper. They are putting an Apple Store here. In. My. Town. Like 20 minutes from my house. AAAAHHHH!!!! Can you believe it?! I'm SO excited!!!! (and yes, a real live Apple Store. where you can buy Macs. and iPods. and stare at wonderful things through glass windows....) I'm hoping to work there someday. Wouldn't that be totally awesome?!

Random #8 I like chocolate. I'm dead tired. I wish that people at my work would be more competent *cough cough* I need to study. I'm going to bed instead. Good night and God bless to you all!

"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...."

I had never seen Star Wars until just a few months ago (I know - get with the times right?!). I watched the first three (well - IV, V and VI - called the 'Classic Trilogy' I guess?) with my family, and they were awesome! I didn't like all the creepy creatures (like in the tavern-ish place in "A New Hope") - but otherwise they were great.

Apparently, today is the unofficial National Star Wars Day. I found that fact out at work this morning. Heh! Who knew there even was such a thing?! But today, this phrase can be found plastered all over the internet: "May the 4th be with you!" Clever? Quite!

I do have a cool blog post in my head, on a totally non-Star Wars topic.... but I need to find like 20 spare minutes to type it out sometime. :P So, until then, enjoy this randomly hilarious Star Wars video I found.
