Ever felt lost when it came to math? *raises hand* I sure have. High school math was not my cup of tea. College math = awesomesauce. Anyways. Yes, I have felt lost at math before... but not quite super lost until I watched this video. Wow. That's just plain scary right there.... but I got a good laugh out of it. NERD POWER!

So Mom walks into my room the other day and goes "India, what happened to your canopy?" See, when I was a young tyke, my parents got this pretty chiffon (well, it's closer to netting, but it's soft. anyway) canopy for my birthday! When I re-painted my room several years ago, I had to take the canopy down in order to paint, and it has been stuffed in a box ever since. After Mom said that I went scrambling to find it, and sure enough, there it was - right in the box wherein I had left it! Mom wasn't looking for me to put the canopy up, she was merely wondering where it was, but why have one if you don't keep it up?! So I put it up. *girly grin* It makes me feel like quite the princess! Er, I mean, Countess. ;)
And yes, I do peel my kiwi before I eat them.
Excellent video! I'm soooo not a math person, but I loved watching it. I asked Judah if he got any of that (the calculations) and he said, "No. But I don't need it." Chip off the old block, eh? :) (Don't say it) mm
ReplyDeletePS Love the knitting things. Would be great up here in the northland, as the tag could read, 'Even light poles like to be warm' - or - something like that. Wouldn't quite work in Chico though . . .
Sudoku? That's for the airplane! I'm more of a crossword puzzle gal myself.
ReplyDeleteIf I knitted that is definitely what I would do!
ReplyDeleteHi, India! The internet makes a small world even smaller ;-)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog earlier today and it was fun sort of "catching up" a bit with your family. I think of you all often. I know you likely don't remember much (if anything) about me, but your family had a huge impact in my early days as a christian (seems like eons ago). I have subscribed to your blog and look forward to reading more of your writings.
Take Care,
Kelly
